ROOT by the River is a cozy home located along the iconic N222 road, in the heart of Pedorido, the land of my paternal grandparents. Nestled between the Douro and Arda rivers, this is a peaceful and authentic retreat.
We decided to open up this space to share it with those who seek the same as we do: tranquility, connection with nature, and unique experiences.
With capacity for up to 7 guests, it’s ideal for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to escape the fast pace of everyday life and enjoy the exclusive serenity of this region.
The Choupal river beach is right next door — perfect for relaxing and having fun. Stunning views, friendly neighbors, amazing local food, and surrounding nature complete the experience.
